Hey everyone! I accidentally dropped my iPhone 13 in the ocean for just a few seconds, and I pulled it out right away. It's been a few days, but now I'm noticing some charging issues—it only charges up to 99%, and today it only reached 98%. Could this be due to the water exposure? Is there any way to fix it? I'm not very tech-savvy, so I hope this isn't too basic of a question!

Apple mentions that their devices are water-resistant, but that can decrease over time due to normal wear. After some use, the seals can wear down, and water exposure might lead to corrosion, which isn't easy to fix without the right tools. It might be worth checking if you have AppleCare+ or some insurance; that's usually a good start if you need repairs!
So maybe I should go and get it checked by Apple?
