I recently installed a Gigabyte B550M K motherboard in my existing PC, and now I'm facing some frustrating issues. Whenever I power on the system, it goes straight to the BIOS without even showing the Gigabyte logo. The only way I can access Windows is by manually selecting the boot override option. I've set my SSD, which has Windows installed, as the top item in the boot order, and it's the only bootable device listed.
My SSD is formatted as GPT, and I've ensured that UEFI is enabled in the BIOS settings. Unfortunately, I can't enable secure boot either, as doing so prevents Windows from booting. I've already reset the BIOS to factory settings, but nothing seems to work.
Additionally, I'm unable to update the BIOS. I've tried multiple USB drives formatted in FAT32 and downloaded several BIOS versions directly from Gigabyte's site, but I keep encountering a 'BIOS image invalid' error. I'm really at a loss here and wondering if my motherboard might be defective.

For the BIOS update issue, consider trying to update step-by-step instead of jumping to the latest version. Sometimes, the motherboard requires incremental updates. Also, double-check that you’re using the correct version for your exact motherboard revision, as that could be why you're seeing the invalid image error.
Have you tried clearing the CMOS memory? That can sometimes reset settings that might be causing boot issues.

I cleared the CMOS already, but it didn't help.
