Hey everyone! I'm considering a GPU upgrade for my PC but need some guidance. My current setup includes an Intel i9 12900k, an MSI Pro Z690 motherboard, and a 3080 12GB GPU with 64GB of RAM (which I purchased back in 2021). I only want to upgrade the GPU but I'm unsure about what options will work well with my system. I was thinking about the 5070 Ti or maybe the 5080. Since I'm not very experienced with PC building, I'd really appreciate any help or recommendations you might have!

How much are the 5070 Ti and 5080 going for where you live? I have a 3080 10GB myself, and honestly, the 5080 is the only card that really makes me consider an upgrade based on performance. However, its price tag (even at $1,000) is tough to justify for me. I’m planning to wait for the 60 series instead.
First off, check your power supply. If you have around 750W, your best options for a solid performance boost would be the 5080 or 9070 XT. Just keep in mind that if you're aiming for at least a 50% increase in performance, those are really the only cards worth considering.
Actually, I’ve got an 850W Thermaltake Gold supply, so I think I’m set in that department!
The 5070 Ti is about $1,000, while the 5080 hits around $1,500.
