I'm considering an upgrade for gaming, but the high-end X3D CPUs are either super expensive or not available in my area. The only option I have right now is the 7600X3D, which costs around $650. I'm wondering if the Ryzen 7600X or 9600X would be good enough for gaming instead. I'm currently using a gifted 9070 GPU, but my Ryzen 3600 isn't keeping up. Any advice?

Both the 7600X and 9600X perform quite similarly in gaming. If you're considering power efficiency, go for the 9600X, as it uses less power. If their prices are close, the 9600X is a great pick; otherwise, just grab whichever one is cheaper!
Keep in mind you'll need to upgrade to DDR5 RAM for either option, which can make the whole upgrade pretty expensive! You might want to look at an AMD 5700X or 5800X instead if they're more affordable in your area. They should work well with your 9070 GPU and are likely available at a better price.

Thanks for the tip! I actually found the 5800X for around $165 here, which seems like a solid deal.
