I'm trying to decide between purchasing a 9070XT that a friend is offering me at a great price, or spending a bit more on the 5070Ti. I want to know if the extra investment in the 5070Ti is justified, especially considering my budget allows for either option. I was initially looking at this build: [pcpartpicker link]. I'm planning to buy some components second-hand or in bundles from MicroCenter, so cost isn't a major issue at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated!

To be honest, the performance gap is really small. Sure, Nvidia's features are generally superior, but unless you're deep into gaming with ray tracing, you won't notice much difference; I’d say stick with the cheaper 9070XT!
The price difference is significant! The raw power is pretty similar in most games, but if you're on a budget, the 9070XT is definitely the better option right now.
Honestly, I'd go for the 9070XT. It's a lot cheaper and offers comparable performance to the 5070Ti, especially if you're not worried about the latest features that Nvidia provides. In most scenarios, they trade blows, and you'll get more bang for your buck with the 9070XT.
If you're not on a strict budget, the 5070Ti has better ray tracing and DLSS capabilities which might be worth it for future-proofing. However, if you're looking for the best value, the 9070XT is definitely the way to go, especially if you don't use those features often.
It's $650 with an EVGA 1000 G2 Supernova included, so that's a pretty sweet deal!

What’s the price of the 9070XT you’re considering?
