I recently downloaded 3DMark to run some benchmarks but ended up getting a weirdly low score of 3187. I'm not sure how that's possible given my build. I'll list out my specs below, and I want to know if there might be a settings issue or something else I should check. Just to give you an idea of my setup:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (4.2 GHz, 8-Core)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5
- Graphics Card: Asus ProArt OC GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (16 GB)
- Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 280
- Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600
- Storage: Western Digital WD Blue SN5000 (1 TB, M.2 PCIe 4.0)
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (750 W, 80+ Gold)
- Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow with multiple ARCTIC fans
My BIOS is up to date, and the PC temperatures during heavy loads reach about 70°C. Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure to check how your score stacks up against others on the 3DMark results page. Typically, about 24% of the results might be lower than yours with the same setup, so it could be more common than you think.
It's not uncommon to get lower scores than expected. Was your benchmark set to 'Time Spy' or did you accidentally run 'Steel Nomad'? Sometimes people confuse the different test modes, and Steel Nomad is usually lower scores for 4060 Ti users. A score around 3000 is pretty standard for that test.
Yeah, I think I ran the wrong test once too! Double-check to make sure you ran the right benchmark. It's majorly confusing with all the different options.
Honestly, the 4060 Ti is just a mid-range card. While it has 16 GB of memory, it might not push scores as high as you'd hope on demanding benchmarks. Try tweaking some settings, or look into overclocking the GPU to see if you can squeeze out a bit more performance.
I thought the same! Just because it has more VRAM doesn't mean it will outperform on every benchmark. Did you check how your scores compare to similar builds?

That's a good point! Knowing where you stand among similar builds can help set realistic expectations.
