Help! My Lenovo Legion 5 BIOS Info Got Wiped After Power Drain

I own a Lenovo Legion 5 15AHP10 with a Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5060. Recently, I faced a glitch with my Caps Lock light being stuck on, so I tried a 60-second power button press to reset the Embedded Controller (EC), which ended up fixing the light. However, it also wiped my DMI data. Now, both the BIOS and Windows report my Serial Number, Product Name, and MTM as "INVALID," which has rendered Lenovo Vantage and Legion Toolkit useless for my hardware. My Fn + Q shortcuts and power modes aren't working either. I've already done a clean install of Windows 11 and loaded setup defaults in the BIOS, but nothing seems to be helping. Has anyone managed to use a DMI tool like AMIDEWIN on the 2025/26 models to re-flash the serial number? Or am I looking at a mandatory trip to the service center for a Maintenance Diskette flash? I've still got 240 days of warranty left, so I'm hoping to avoid that if possible!

Since it's still under warranty, your best bet is to reach out to the manufacturer directly. They might offer a solution without you having to fuss with the BIOS yourself.

Have you tried using the official Lenovo BIOS update software? It could help fix the issue, as updating the BIOS might allow your system to detect the data again.

Thanks for the tip! I actually ended up using the official Lenovo BIOS Tool RTR (Right to Repair) Package from their support site. I ran it as an Admin and entered my S/N and MTM manually. After a reboot, everything's back to normal, and Fn + Q works now!
