Hey everyone, I was working on my paper on my Lenovo Yoga when my mouse suddenly disappeared. I tried resetting my laptop, but it didn't help. Then CoPilot suggested I do something with the Windows button, but I'm not very tech-savvy. After the reset, I got a message saying, 'Something happened and your pin isn't available,' but I couldn't reset it because my laptop doesn't have internet access. I attempted the self-diagnosis, but the internet button is unresponsive. I watched some YouTube tutorials, but none worked, and now I can't even see the pin message anymore. I reached out to both Windows support and Geek Squad, but they hung up on me. As a broke college student, I can't afford any costly repairs.

Honestly, I’d recommend sending an email to your professor explaining your situation just like you did here and asking for an extension. They might understand given the circumstances.
Have you tried signing in without the pin? You can often log in with your Microsoft account instead. If that doesn't work, booting into safe mode might help you troubleshoot further.
