I've been trying to free up space on my C drive, but even after deleting some games, the storage space hasn't increased at all. I've emptied the recycle bin and checked the storage settings, but the games don't seem to be on my drive anymore. I've also cleared temporary files and cleaned the C drive, but nothing has worked. What should I do?

As a last resort, if it's a desktop, you could add another SSD or use external storage. Just remember to manage your page file settings properly!
Can you tell us how big your C drive is and what operating system you're using? Also, how much free space did you have before deleting those games? This info could help us figure out where the space went.
If you haven’t already, try using Disk Cleanup and clean up old Windows Update files and system files. You might be surprised how much space that can clear up!
Check your profile folder, specifically under C:UsersAppDataLocal to see if any leftover save games are taking up space. Also, look in the Windows settings for installed apps.
WinDirStat is another great option to identify what’s taking up space on your drive. It really gives you an insight into file usage.
Yeah, I totally agree. It’s super handy for checking what's using your space.
You might want to try downloading a program like TreeSize Free and running it as an administrator. It can help you see what’s actually using your space.
I just used it, but the used GB doesn’t match the space shown, which is weird.

My C drive is 476 GB. I had over 50 GB free before I deleted a 100+ GB game from Steam and another 50+ GB game, but the free space hasn’t changed.
