Hey everyone! I'm in the process of upgrading my gaming setup after my Alienware R15's PSU died. I plan to reuse some parts in a new case but need advice on what CPU to get. Currently, I'm using the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, which I find struggles a bit with demanding games like Total War, Arma Reforger, and Warno. What CPU would be a good upgrade from the 7900X? Also, what motherboard would pair well with it? Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

The 7900X is already a strong CPU, but if you're looking to upgrade, I recommend the 7800X3D or the 9800X3D. If you need more cores, you might also consider the 9900X3D. Just keep in mind, selling your used 7900X might not bring in much, as it's still a fantastic processor for gaming.
What motherboard would you recommend for the 9800X3D or one I could use now and upgrade later if I decided to?
