I recently received a new PC from Cyber Power, and after setting it up, I noticed that the frame rates in my games are extremely low, despite having updated all the drivers. I contacted tech support for help, and they instructed me to access the BIOS, but all I see is a black screen with a white dash in the corner when I try. They suggested taking it in, but their office is quite far and only open when I'm working. I'd really like to solve this without having to take time off. I've checked the connections, and everything seems fine, but I'm not very tech-savvy. Any advice would be appreciated! Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Motherboard: GIGABYTE B850 GAMING WIFI6, Video: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, HDD: 2TB WD Green SN3000 SSD.

You can try accessing the BIOS using a Windows method. Open "Command Prompt" as an administrator and type: `shutdown /r /fw`, then hit Enter. This should restart your computer directly into the BIOS in about a minute. If it doesn't work, there might be a hardware issue or thermal throttling happening.
You might want to download HWINFO64 to check the temperatures and see if anything is overheating.
First, make sure you're plugging your monitor into the GPU output and not into the motherboard itself. That might be causing your display issue.
What do you mean by that? How can I check?
I just tried that, but I still get the same black screen with the dash.
