Hey everyone! I'm getting ready for a job interview as a developer soon and I could really use some advice. What have you done to prepare for interviews? Any tips or methods that have worked well for you? Thanks!

Preparing a list of 'mini-stories' in the STAR format and rehearsing them is my go-to. This way, I can confidently answer any question about my past experiences. It's all about having those examples ready to showcase during the interview.
I typically review the required skills and build a small, relevant project. After I complete the project, I break down my work and take notes on the tech stack and how I used different components. When I can talk about a real project I’ve done, it really helps in conveying my skills and knowledge. Plus, showing enthusiasm for the role and reading up on the company’s mission can really help you stand out!
I have 2 interviews lined up for a Java QA role, and here's my strategy: I take the job description, run it through an AI tool, and have it act like a senior SDET interviewer. I practice answering these tailored questions and get feedback. It's not perfect, but it really helps me feel more prepared for the tough questions I might face.

I don’t use AI for mock questions, but I do ask it to generate a list of likely questions and how to tackle them.
