I have two laptops here, and both are acting up for different reasons. I don't know their exact ages, but they can both run Windows 11.
First, my first laptop suddenly stopped working one night. It turns on and charges, but the screen shows a message saying that Windows is not installed, even though I had it on there before. I'm completely lost as to what's going on with it.
Then there's my second laptop. It got sprayed from across the room while I was taking a shower—my sister messed up the shower head, and I had no idea it was happening! I really need this one to work because it has a ton of important files that I need access to.
Right now, I'm hoping to fix the second laptop instead of the first, if that's even possible. I'm just really frustrated with the whole situation. Thanks for listening to my ramble!

'Sprayed from across the room'? Man, that sounds rough! Try taking the drive from your second laptop and putting it into the first one. Just keep in mind that if you have BitLocker enabled, it might complicate things a bit!
When the second laptop got sprayed, was it on? Did you give it time to dry out before trying to power it on again? Any weird noises or smells when you attempted to start it? Sharing some pictures might help us give better advice too!
I turned it off and put it upside down in a tent shape. I let it dry for two days, and it turned on last night but started acting up again. I can share the photos now!
What's the current status of your second laptop? Is it turning on? As for the first one, there might be a drive corruption issue. You could try using another working laptop to create a bootable USB with Windows 11 and see if that lets you boot up the first laptop to check if the drive is functioning properly.

Yeah, it’s on by default for a lot of Windows 11 setups, which could be tricky.
