What Linux Distros Support Secure Boot and Perform Well for Gaming?

I'm looking for a Linux distribution that offers solid gaming performance similar to Windows while supporting secure boot during installation, especially since my BIOS is locked. I have an Intel HD 520 GPU with an i5 6300U processor. I've been using Fedora and Zorin OS for the past five months, but I've noticed my gaming performance isn't as good as it is on Windows, despite trying various solutions. Any recommendations?

Instead of swapping distributions, take a good look at your current settings! Sometimes minor tweaks can make a big difference.

Have you considered trying Bazzite? It offers good performance, and if you're into rolling releases, Cachyos might be an option too. Just keep in mind that you might need to enroll MOK keys for Bazzite.

Thanks, I'll look into Bazzite!

Just a heads up—Cachyos won't be a go if you can't access your UEFI settings, and Bazzite might also require you to enroll some keys.

You might not see a significant boost by changing distros. Instead, focus on optimizing what you have and tweaking your settings.
