I recently switched to Linux Mint and most of my programs are running fine, but I'm facing some challenges with Steam. As I redownload my game library, it sometimes seems to lose internet connection. Plus, when I try to launch games, even those I confirmed work in Proton DB, they just won't start. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you’ve got the latest updates for both Linux Mint and Steam. Sometimes missing updates can lead to issues like this. If you have any firewall or network settings enabled, they may also interfere with Steam's connectivity.
It sounds like you might need to check a few things. First, what type of partition have you set up for your games? Sometimes if the filesystem isn’t compatible, it can cause issues. Also, could you share your hardware specs? That might help narrow down the problem.
