Hey everyone! I'm working on putting together a PC build primarily for gaming like competitive Dota, CS2, and upcoming AAA titles. I'm based in Moldova and would love your feedback on the components I've selected below, along with any suggestions for improvements. Here's what I have so far:
1. **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - $371
2. **GPU**: PURE AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT OC - $800
3. **Motherboard**: ASRock B850 Pro-A ATX - $208
4. **PSU**: Chieftec Vega M PPG-850-C, 80+ Gold - $120
5. **Cooler**: DEEPCOOL AG400 BK ARGB - $29
6. **RAM**: I'm considering:
- a. Corsair Vengeance 32GB(2X16GB) 6000Mhz CL36 - $325
- b. LEXAR THOR Z RGB 32GB(2X16GB) 6000Mhz CL36 - $325
- c. Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB White 32GB(2X16GB) 7200Mhz CL34 - $348 (not sure if this is good for Ryzen)
- d. Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB 32GB(2X16GB) 6000Mhz CL30 - $348 (same concern)
- e. Kingston FURY Renegade White 32GB, 6000 MHz, CL32 - $319
7. **SSD**: Contemplating:
- Samsung 990 PRO 1TB - $220
- Samsung 990 EVO Plus - $185
8. **Case**: Should I choose a case with good airflow because I'm worried the GPU might run hot? I'm looking at:
- DARKFLASH PC Case ATX DPX90 Black - $52
- GAMEMAX Storm 2 AB - $50
Any thoughts on what looks good or what I should change?

Make sure you get a RAM kit with a lower CAS Latency (CL) if possible, and check that it's compatible with your motherboard and has an Expo profile. Regarding the case, it really depends on your personal preference, but good airflow is key, especially with that 9070 XT.
I’d steer clear of the ASRock motherboard. There have been reports of Ryzen CPUs having issues with AM5 boards. MSI boards are generally good, but make sure they support PCIe Gen 5 for the GPU. For cooling, I'd suggest the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 if you can find it; it offers better performance than the AG400. For RAM, stick to 6000 MHz that fits under your cooler. If you're okay with Samsung, the 990 Pro is your best bet for storage!
Overall, solid build! For the RAM, I'd recommend sticking with 6000 MHz and CL30 or CL32 for the best compatibility with Ryzen. The 7200 MHz kits are generally aimed at Intel. The DEEPCOOL cooler should be fine, but if you can, consider getting a beefier cooler for the 7800X3D. As for SSDs, the Samsung 990 EVO Plus is a great choice for gaming, so you don’t have to overspend on the Pro. Just keep in mind that the RX 9070 XT can run warm, so ensure good airflow!
Grab a RAM kit that supports 6000 MHz and has good compatibility. Just a friendly reminder to ensure your power supply has the necessary 8-pin connector for the RX 9070 XT. That'll help with stability!
