My PC Crashed After Installing Faceit Anti-Cheat, What Can I Do?

I was downloading the Faceit Anti-Cheat software when it prompted me to restart my PC. Unfortunately, during the reboot, my computer shut down unexpectedly. Now, whenever I try to turn it on, it power cycles repeatedly and makes a strange noise. Eventually, I get a boot error related to SrtTrail.txt. I've tried various commands in Safe Mode following YouTube tutorials, but nothing seems to work. I even attempted a factory reset twice—once with Cloud Download and once with Local Reinstall—but both failed, and I got a VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. The loading animation also freezes right after the fifth and a half rotation of the circle. What should I do next?

It sounds like you've been through a lot with this! I'd recommend doing a clean install of Windows using a USB drive. System resets can sometimes fail, even if everything seems fine. If you have important files on your C Drive, you might want to back them up first using a live OS like Hiren's Boot CD or a Linux distribution before proceeding with the install.

Do you have anything important saved on your PC? If not, the easiest path forward is to just reinstall Windows and call it a day. Let me know if you need a step-by-step guide on how to do that!

I'm actually doing a clean install from USB right now!
