Today, my iPhone was stolen, and I immediately activated Lost Mode from another device. I've also attached a message to it and filed a police report. I've got the SIM being blocked, too. The phone's last known location is on a highway not too far from where it was taken, but it either shut off or ran out of battery. If the phone connects to Wi-Fi or turns back on, will I be able to track it again? And to whoever stole it—just know I will track it down! I won't take it off Lost Mode. Any tips on what else I should do?

You've done everything right so far! Just keep it on Lost Mode because it will update its location if it ever connects to a network again. Stay hopeful!
Once you block the SIM, the only chance to see its location again is if they manage to unlock it and connect to Wi-Fi. Just make sure you don’t turn off Lost Mode!
I'm really sorry to hear that! If you have insurance, now’s the time to lean on it and get a replacement. Keep Lost Mode activated, but try not to expect it back. Good luck!
Honestly, they might power it back on miles away. Just keep it in Find My; if you remove it, it becomes useless for tracking. Best to just let it be. Keep your chin up!

But what if I need to reuse my number? How do I handle that?
