I recently activated XMP profile 1 for my G.Skill Ripjaw RAM (16GB x 2 DDR4 3600MHz C18-22-22-42 1.35V), but I'm unsure about the settings. I've adjusted the speed from 3600MHz to 3200MHz, using the timings from the XMP profile instead of manually changing them on my motherboard (DS3H B550M V2), which officially supports up to 3200MHz. Is this configuration safe?

If your motherboard is rated for 3200, it's best to stick with that. You won't be sacrificing much in terms of performance, maybe not even 20 fps, so go for the stability!
You should be fine setting it to 3200MHz. Your motherboard can handle up to 3600MT just without needing to adjust the speeds. So running it at 3200 shouldn't cause any issues at all.
Yeah, 3200MT is pretty comparable to 3600MT, so you’re all good! A lot of users actually lower their RAM speeds when using different kits to ensure compatibility.
