Hey folks! I'm in the process of building a new PC and I'm stuck trying to decide between the i5-13600KF and the i5-14600KF. My main focus will be gaming, but I'll also be streaming at the same time using OBS while playing both FPS and AAA games. The specs look pretty similar, but I'm unsure if the 14600KF offers any significant benefits, or if it's just a minor upgrade. Is there a noticeable performance difference when it comes to gaming and streaming, versus gaming on its own? Should I just go with the 13600KF and use the money I save on other components like the GPU or RAM? Looking forward to your insights! 😀

The 14600KF does deliver about 3% better gaming performance, but that’s hardly a noticeable difference in real-world scenarios. If your goal is streaming along with gaming, the difference isn't big enough to justify the extra cost in my opinion.
Yeah, honestly, the difference is negligible between the two. I'd personally just go for the 13600KF and put the extra cash towards upgrading your GPU or RAM instead.
Honestly, they're pretty much the same chip with slightly different clock and power targets. If you're planning to stream, I'd recommend getting the regular K version instead of the KF. The K has integrated graphics which allows you to use Intel's Quicksync for better streaming performance, which can be a game-changer.
