I'm considering the AMD 7800X3D paired with the 9060XT 16GB for playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. My budget is tight, and I can't stretch to the 9070XT. What are your thoughts on this combo?

Honestly, you might be spending too much on the CPU. If you downgraded a bit, would that allow you to afford the 9070XT instead?
Looks solid! You could also consider the 7600X3D if you can find it for savings. MSFS is more CPU-heavy, so any AM5 X3D option is a good call.

Before you decide, check out the recommended specs for MSFS 2020. They suggest having 32GB of RAM. Can you fit that into your budget?
Yes, I can manage 32GB DDR5 RAM with 2x16GB modules, and I found one with latency 36. The one with latency 30 costs just a bit more, about 20€.
Here’s my parts list: in Slovakia, some prices are better than others. At Alza, the total is around 1730€. It might help you compare.
I could downgrade to the 9700X for maybe 70€ less, but the 9070XT is still over 600€.
