Hey everyone! I'm starting to plan ahead for September/October when I'll be looking to either upgrade my current PC or build a new one. I'm wondering if I should stick with what I have and just upgrade certain components, or if it would be better to go for a whole new build instead. Here are my current specs:
- Case: Corsair 5000D
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
- Cooler: CoolerMaster ML120L RGB
- MOBO: ASUS Prime B550M-A
- GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 3060 TI
- RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600 Mhz
- SSD: 2TB
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think upgrading your GPU would be a great move! It’ll really boost your performance, especially if you plan to game at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K. I’d focus on that if you're looking to future-proof your setup for a bit longer. Just make sure the new GPU fits in your case and is compatible with your motherboard!
Absolutely! If you're gaming at anything higher than 1080p, upgrading your GPU is really the way to go. And if you're still on 1080p right now, maybe consider getting a new GPU along with a set of monitors to fully enjoy those upgrades down the line!
Thanks for the tips! Sounds like I should look into a better GPU and maybe some new monitors!
What do you think? Would upgrading just the GPU be enough to keep me relevant in gaming for a while?
