Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC and would love some feedback on my parts list before I finalize everything. I've already snagged some components through a bundle at Micro Center, but I want to ensure I haven't overlooked anything important. Here's my parts list:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **Motherboard**: ASUS TUF B650-E WiFi
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR5-6000 (Corsair Vengeance RGB)
- **GPU**: ASRock RX 9070 Challenger Triple Fan 16GB
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL PCIe5 750W Gold PSU
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- **Storage**: Inland 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD
- **Case**: Montech HS01 Pro ATX
**Intended Use**:
- Gaming at 1440p (mostly AAA games with some competitive shooters)
- Maybe some light productivity tasks down the line
- Looking for a system that'll be reliable for several years
**Questions**:
1. Is the 750W power supply enough for this setup in the long run?
2. Are there any weak links in my build that I should consider upgrading now?
3. Is the Inland Gen4 SSD suitable as my primary drive, or should I swap it?
4. Are there any additional accessories or fans I should consider before the first boot?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions! Especially interested in hearing from anyone with a similar setup like the 7800X3D paired with a Radeon card.

Honestly, if you could, I'd consider a 7700X and a 9070XT or a 5070Ti combo instead of the 7800X3D and the 9070. Just my opinion on ideal performance.
If it were my build, I'd swap out the GPU for a 5070ti when it's on sale. I recently found one for $789. Your other choices look solid though!
You might find better deals at a local Micro Center, so definitely check there! Overall, your build looks solid. Just as a side note, I've had some issues with Corsair peripherals, so maybe consider something like a Keychron keyboard for a better experience.
Thanks for that! I actually plan on shopping at Micro Center, so that works out.
750W is plenty for your setup. I've run more demanding systems off of a 600W PSU! Your choice of components seems good for general gaming and light tasks. Just make sure you get a decent monitor to take advantage of your new hardware!
Absolutely! I realize I need a good monitor to really feel the upgrade. Thanks for the reminder!
1. Your 750W PSU should be fine for this setup, especially since the 7800X3D is quite efficient. If you're looking for more headroom in the future, consider upgrading to an 850W PSU, which you can often find for a good price.
2. As for weak points, the RX 9070 is decent but you might get more performance from a 9070XT if your budget allows.
3. The Inland SSD is okay for general use, but if you want something faster, maybe look into something with PCIe 5.0, which offers better performance.
Thanks for the insight! I’ll definitely check out the 9070XT. Appreciate the SSD tip too!

Good to know! I’m just worried about stretching my budget. I found the 9070 for $600, which seems like a good deal.
