Should I Upgrade My CPU or GPU First?

I'm trying to figure out whether to upgrade my GPU or CPU, but I'm only able to upgrade one right now due to budget constraints. Here are my current specs:

- CPU: R5 5600
- GPU: RTX 4060 8GB
- PSU: Seasonic 500W
- RAM: 16GB (2x8GB)
- Motherboard: MSI B550M

I was leaning towards upgrading to an RTX 4070, but it's out of stock everywhere and even the used market is bare in my region (Southeast Asia). I'm considering the 5060 ti 16GB since benchmarking shows it could double my current GPU's performance, though it's priced about double my RTX 4060.

Alternatively, I could upgrade to the R5 5700X3D for a slight FPS boost while holding onto my 4060 until better cards are available. I really need some advice from seasoned builders on what direction to take, especially since I'm on a tight budget!

I’d suggest getting the RTX 5060 ti, but keep in mind your Ryzen 5 5600 might bottleneck its performance a bit. It seems upgrading the CPU first would give you a better overall balance before investing in a new GPU, plus it might also allow you to improve your PSU for when you do get a better card.

Upgrading to the R5 5700X3D would be a smart move. It’ll work well with the 5060 ti and enhance your gaming experience without breaking the bank. Focus on the CPU upgrade first, then you can tackle the GPU down the line when prices stabilize.
