Need Help Deciding Between 5070 and 7800 XT for My New PC Build

I've built my first PC almost a decade ago (can you believe it was a GTX 970?). Now I'm trying to create a solid mid-tier setup with a budget of around £1200. I've been looking into the 5070 and 7800 XT for graphics cards, and since I play Cyberpunk a lot on my Legion Go, I want to make sure to get the best possible performance. Any advice or suggestions for saving some bucks, or maybe how to stretch my budget would be awesome! Here's a rough outline of my build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 3 GHz 8-Core - £199
- **Cooler**: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 - £62.99
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE AX - £112
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB DDR4-3600 - £60
- **GPU**: Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7800 XT - £476
- **Case**: Lian Li Lancool 207 - £75
- **PSU**: MSI MAG A850GL 850 W - £99.99
- **Windows 11**: £107.99 (part of my overall budget!)
I'm based in the UK, and I appreciate any tips you can share!

If you're strict on budget, you might be able to fit a 5070 Ti alongside a Ryzen 5 7600. It's going to be tight, but it should be doable! Just keep an eye on the pricing when you're ready to buy.

Honestly, I would steer clear of the 7800 XT. Its ray tracing performance is pretty weak, and it doesn't hold up well against some newer options like the 5070 or 9070. Taking that into account, I'd recommend going for one of those instead for better long-term value!

That's what I was thinking too. The RT performance scares me. Appreciate the input!
