I've got a Ryzen 5 7600 and an RX 9060 XT with 16GB of DDR5 RAM. I'm looking to upgrade with around 200 euros to either boost my RAM to 32GB or get a mini LED 1440p monitor. My goal is to play AAA games at max settings for the next few years. I'm unsure if a 1440p monitor would be too demanding for my setup, and while I can use upscaling and frame generation, I prefer not to compromise on performance. Also, I heard that using 4 RAM sticks could cause instability, so I'd like advice on which upgrade makes the most sense right now.

I'd recommend upgrading to the monitor first, especially if your current one isn't that great. You'll definitely notice a bigger impact while gaming. 16GB of RAM is still sufficient for most games, so unless you're running into performance issues, you can hold off on that for now.
Going against the grain here, but I think you should prioritize the RAM upgrade. While 16GB is okay for gaming, it may not cut it if you want to multitask effectively and keep everything running smoothly. However, if you're mostly gaming and want to boost performance, then stick with what you have for now and save the RAM upgrade for later.
I’m not focused on multitasking, so I just wanted to check if AAA games push over 16GB. I really appreciate your input!
Definitely go for the monitor first! With your 16GB DDR5 and the 9060 XT, you can still get decent performance in most AAA titles. The upgrade to a 1440p display will transform your gaming experience, while the RAM can wait until you really need more.
Absolutely! It sounds like a great stepping stone to enhance my gaming layout.
Another thing to consider is your gaming habits. If you're not pushing your system too hard with multitasking or heavy loads, then 16GB should be fine for now. Just get a good 1440p monitor to really enjoy those graphics on AAA titles!
If you're looking to spend that 200 euros wisely, I'd say use it on a better monitor. Upgrading to 32GB RAM would require more than that, and also you shouldn't mix RAM sticks as it may affect system stability. A new monitor gives an immediate visual upgrade that will enhance your experience in games. Plus, you can always look at RAM down the line as your budget allows!

Thanks for the tip! I'm currently using an IPS 1080p display without HDR, so I think a new monitor will really enhance my experience.
