I just upgraded from an iPhone 12 to a new iPhone 17. On my old phone, I had my credit card stored in Apple Wallet without using Apple Pay, and it worked perfectly. However, after transferring to my new phone, it seems the card is now being required to use Apple Pay, which is causing some issues with vendors and transit payments that used to work fine for me. Is there a way to keep my credit card in Apple Wallet without having to use Apple Pay? I've been using my credit card for transit for years without an Apple Pay-specific account number, but now that's changed with the new phone setup. I'd appreciate any help!
