I'm building a PC and I'm curious about whether the Ryzen 7 5700 is a good CPU to pair with an RTX 5060ti 8GB. It's significantly cheaper than similar CPUs in my area, and I'm hoping it won't cause any bottlenecking issues. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, the Ryzen 7 5700 might not be your best bet. Since it's limited to PCIe 3.0 and has only 16MB of L3 cache, it could struggle with an RTX 5060ti 8GB. When VRAM runs out, it starts to rely on system memory, and having only 8 lanes in PCIe 3.0 can lead to a serious performance drop. If you can, I’d suggest going for an R5 5600(t), 5600x(t), or even the R7 5700X or 5800x(t) if your budget allows. Otherwise, the R5 5500 could be a more cost-effective choice without sacrificing too much performance. Also, consider the RX 9060XT 16GB if you can swing it, or grab the 5060ti 16GB for a nice upgrade!

I appreciate the insight! So, from what you're saying, even though benchmarks show the 7 5700 as better than the 5600XT, the latter might actually perform better due to those limitations?
