Hey everyone! Today when I opened my computer, I was greeted with the BitLocker blue screen for what seems like the fifth or sixth time since I got this laptop back in late 2024. Usually, a simple restart would get me past it, but now I'm completely stuck. I've tried every option to revert to an older update, check the startup settings, and even the full PC reset options, but nothing seems to work anymore.
I'm currently in a chat with support, and they said they would call me back, but I'm feeling pretty hopeless right now. I've checked my three Microsoft accounts that might have the BitLocker key linked, but there's no sign of the key or key ID anywhere. To top it off, the section where I used to see my device isn't showing any devices anymore—it's probably because I recently reset my password on one of those accounts.
I'm really worried about losing all my drawings and work on this PC, especially since I can't even system reset it. If anyone has any advice on what I can do next, I would really appreciate it!

If you can't remember the BitLocker key and your drive is locked, there really isn’t an easy fix. Unfortunately, the only way out might be to reinstall Windows. Since you mentioned that the reset option isn't working, you could try downloading the Windows ISO to a USB and install it from there. If the PC originally came with Windows pre-installed, it should automatically activate without needing a separate license key.
Before jumping to reinstalling Windows, you might want to try getting any crash dump files if you can access Windows normally or via Safe Mode. You can find these in C:WindowsMinidump. If there are any dump files, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. Multiple dumps can help diagnose the issue better, just make sure to configure your settings for future dumps.
