I've plugged and unplugged my DisplayPort cable into my GPU around 100 times over the past few months while switching setups. I checked both the cable and the port, and there's no visible damage or bent pins. I'm starting to worry about potential long-term damage. Are these ports designed for heavy usage, or could I be risking damage to the port?

They likely have testing for over 10,000 cycles, so I think you're good. If you're worried, maybe consider using an extension cable. This way, you can plug/unplug the extension instead of the actual port.
As long as it doesn’t feel loose and is working fine, I'd say there’s no need to panic. If you're going to keep replugging, using a DisplayPort switch could save wear on your GPU port.
I found some info suggesting DisplayPort connectors are rated for about 10,000 mating cycles, so you should be fine even after 100 cycles!
If hardware YouTubers can swap components constantly without issues, I wouldn't stress too much. If it were a problem, we would've heard about it by now.
