Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for some solid music player apps that will fit my needs. I'll be setting up a new PC running CachyOS around July-August, and I prefer to listen to music locally rather than rely on online services.
Specifically, I'm looking for a music player that lets me customize song appearances—like covers and icons—and allows the same song to be included in multiple playlists. I want something that's user-friendly and visually appealing since I'll just be using my own playlists. Thanks in advance for any recommendations you might have!

You should definitely check out Strawberry! It's a great choice for local music and has a lot of customization options.
If you're into some tinkering, give Fooyin a shot. It's pretty much a parallel to foobar2000 for Linux, but it can be a bit tricky to set up. Once you get it working, it's an incredible experience!
I'm also a fan of Strawberry! Seems like a lot of us are agreeing on that one; it just works really well for local files.
Tauon is another option worth considering. It has a clean interface and is focused on providing a good local music experience.
