I'm currently building my first gaming PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d and a PNY RTX 5080. The best deal I've found for a 2TB SSD is the Crucial T710 with a heatsink. Is it worth buying now since it's cheaper than the WD Black and similar brands, or should I wait for potentially better deals? I'm a first-time builder, so I'd appreciate any feedback!

No one can really predict the market, but Crucial SSDs are solid. I've had good experiences with them, much better than some other brands like Team Group, which I found to be really unreliable.
You might want to think about getting a 1TB drive for now. Prices should start stabilizing later this year, and it could be easier to add more storage when prices drop further.
If you really need an SSD now, go ahead and buy it. But if you can wait, prices are expected to decline, although it won't be super fast or guaranteed.
