I recently built a gaming rig with an Nvidia 3060 GPU (12GB VRAM) and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700 CPU, paired with 32GB of RAM. However, I'm experiencing only 90-100 FPS while playing GTA RP, despite seeing that both my CPU and GPU are only using 30-40% of their capacity. Can someone explain why this is happening?

Your FPS issue likely stems from how games utilize CPU cores. Most games tend to rely on single-threaded performance, meaning they may only use one core fully while the others sit idle. Even if you have a powerful processor with multiple cores, if the game can't leverage them efficiently, you'll see lower performance. It's also possible that the game is limited to a certain FPS cap, so even with more processing power available, it won't exceed that limit. Additionally, check if your in-game settings are balanced with your hardware capabilities.

That makes sense! I noticed my CPU usage isn't maxed out, even when playing. I guess I'll have to tweak some settings.
