Hey folks! I'm gearing up to build my first gaming PC and I've been putting together a setup that I'm pretty excited about. I've gotten some initial help but I'd love to get feedback from others who know their stuff. I'm focusing mainly on games like Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, and Rust, and I have a budget of around 1700 Euros since I'm based in the Czech Republic. Here's what I'm looking at for specs:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- **RAM:** G.Skill Flare X5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 (AMD EXPO, Low Profile)
- **GPU:** MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G GAMING TRIO OC (or any available 5070 Ti 16GB)
- **Storage:** 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2
- **PSU:** Seasonic Focus GX-850, 850W 80+ Gold (ATX 3.0 / PCIe 5.0 compatible)
- **Case:** Fractal Design Meshify 2 Black TG Light Tint
- **Extras:** Arctic MX-6 Thermal Paste, Surge Protector (Acar 504WF or Brennenstuhl Super-Solid 8-way)

If anyone has suggestions for changes, tips, or thoughts on whether I'm wasting money on any of these components, I'd really appreciate your input!

I think the GPU choice could be reconsidered since the model you're looking at has been out of production for a while. I'd recommend switching to either the 5070 Ti or the Radeon RX 9070 XT instead. Also, you might want to swap the motherboard for the B850 version to better match your CPU. By the way, your budget fits just right for these changes!

Thanks for the advice! My budget is around 1700 Euros, so I'm hoping to keep it within that range. Appreciate the suggestions!

Looks like you're off to a solid start! Just a heads up, the thermal paste usually comes pre-applied on most coolers, so you might not need to buy the Arctic MX-6 unless you want to use it for peace of mind. It’s generally good enough as-is.

Actually, the cooler comes with a small tube of thermal paste, so you will need to apply it yourself. Just something to keep in mind!
