Seeking Advice for a New Gaming PC Build Around $1500

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new gaming PC and my budget is between $1500 and $1700. My current setup is about 10 years old and it's definitely time for an upgrade. I've put together a build but would love any suggestions or tweaks you might have. I'm open to switching to Intel and NVIDIA if that would give me better performance. I'm also planning to add another 16 GB RAM stick in the future. This setup won't include a monitor since I currently have a 1080p one, but I'm considering upgrading to a 1440p monitor later on. Here's what I've got so far for the build:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Assassin King SE ARGB 66.17 CFM
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 GAMING X WIFI6E ATX AM5
- Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- Storage: Kingston KC3000 1.024 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
- Video Card: Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB
- Case: NZXT H5 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower Case
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A650GL 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX PSU

Everything adds up to around $1600 in my currency. Thanks for any help!

Consider getting 32 GB of RAM for better multitasking and gaming performance. Also, think about upgrading your GPU to the 9070 if you can swing it; it’ll give you more longevity as games become more demanding.

It's tough to suggest alternatives without knowing your country. If I suggest a different GPU, for instance, it might be unavailable or way more expensive for you. Are you in Serbia or somewhere else?

Do you have a Micro Center nearby? They often have great deals on builds and components you might want to check out.

Yes, I’m in Serbia. I’ve noticed prices aren’t too different from the US, so I think I’m okay at this level of build.

Overall, your build looks solid! Just keep in mind that using a single stick of RAM isn't ideal—try to get 2 x 16 GB from the start for dual-channel benefits. The combo with Ryzen and your GPU should handle 1440p well. You might want to bump the PSU up to 750W for some extra headroom, but the rest seems good.
