Is two PCIe cables enough for my RX 6900 XT?

I recently picked up an ASRock Formula OC RX 6900 XT and I'm worried about my power cables. I have a be quiet! Pure Power 12M - 1200w 80 Plus Gold PSU, but it only has two 6+2-pin PCIe cables that can split into four connectors. Even though this PSU is high quality and designed for daisy-chaining, I'm curious if these cables will be sufficient for the GPU without risking overheating or melting under heavy load. I plan to undervolt and overclock the card, but I'm looking for some advice as I don't have other options due to the GPU's 3x8-pin connector setup.

The RX 6900 XT will typically draw around 300-350W based on how much you overclock it. Splitting that load across two cables from a good quality PSU is perfectly okay since each cable can handle about 300W. You should be fine!

Yep, you should be totally fine with those cables!

Absolutely, the daisy chain setup should work just fine.

I had a similar situation with a different PSU and reached out to the manufacturer. They confirmed that my daisy chain cable was rated as high as two separate 6+2 pin cables. Be Quiet is a reputable brand, so I’d be surprised if yours wasn't rated similarly. If you're still uncertain, you might want to contact them for confirmation. There's also a great thread discussing this specific PSU on a tech forum that might have more insights!
