I'm curious if anyone here has bought AppleCare+ through Amazon after purchasing their device separately. Specifically, I bought the AirPods Pro 3 and noticed an option to add a protection plan a few days later. I went ahead and bought the two-year plan, but after 48 hours, I still haven't received any confirmation of my purchase. I tried reaching out to Apple support, but they didn't provide much help aside from telling me to wait more. Any advice on this?

From what I understand, Amazon isn't an official Apple Authorized reseller, so buying AppleCare+ from them might be a hit or miss. I’d check Apple's website for a list of authorized retailers if you're looking for extended coverage. But since you mentioned you're outside the US, I get how tricky it can be!
It sounds like you might have gotten the Amazon protection plan instead of AppleCare+. Be careful with that, because AppleCare+ typically activates right away. I’d recommend checking the settings on your device; there's an option to buy extended coverage that could help you, especially for your AirPods. As for buying from Amazon, I'm not sure it’s the best move since you may miss out on benefits if they aren't an authorized seller.
