Why does my PC sometimes start without display and how can I fix it?

I've been having a frustrating issue with my PC for about three years now. It started with occasional display problems after powering on, but it has gradually gotten worse. Initially, a simple power cycle would fix it, but now it frequently takes multiple tries to get it to display anything. These days, it usually fails to start on the first attempt—maybe 99 out of 100 times—and requires me to wait a couple of minutes before trying again.

To cope, I've been putting the PC to sleep instead of fully shutting it down, but even that isn't working now. Most recently, it powers on but doesn't display anything or even light up my monitor. I've done some troubleshooting like testing different RAM configurations and resetting the CMOS, but nothing seems to help. My specs are:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 S2H
- Processor: Ryzen 2600
- GPU: 3060 12GB
- RAM: 2x Ripjaws 3200 8GB
- PSU: Corsair Bronze 650

Once it does start up, everything runs smoothly, so I suspect it might be a motherboard issue. Any advice on what I could try?

First off, make sure your motherboard's BIOS is updated. Sometimes these issues stem from outdated firmware. If it is updated and you're still having trouble, consider turning off the fast startup option in Windows Power Options. That can occasionally cause booting issues as well.

Have you tried reseating your GPU or checking for any loose connections? Sometimes a simple disconnection and reconnection can solve the issue. Also, if you're comfortable doing so, it might be worth looking at the power supply connections to ensure everything is secure.
