I'm wondering if I can use different AC power cables (not the ones that come with the power supply unit) with my PSU. I recently found out my AC power cable isn't long enough to reach my power socket, but I have some spare AC power cables from other devices that are longer. Is it safe to use one of these with my NEXT C750 core 750w 80+ gold fully modular ATX power supply?

Yes, in most cases, the AC power cables that connect from the wall plug to the power supply unit are standardized. So you can usually use a cable from another device like a TV without an issue. Just ensure it fits securely.

Is there a specific standard for these cables, or can it really be any cable that fits?
