Which GPU Should I Choose: RX 6700 10GB or RX 6700XT 12GB?

I'm trying to decide between a brand new RX 6700 10GB or a used RX 6700XT 12GB that's a bit worn but available for the same price. I primarily play at 1080p and I'm not planning to upgrade to 1440p anytime soon. Will I actually benefit from the additional 2GB of VRAM on the 6700XT for my current setup?

More VRAM is definitely better, even if you don't think you'll need it now. You never know when you might want to dabble in some AI tasks or play more demanding games down the line. My advice is to always get the best card you can afford.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind!

If you can find an RX 6900XT 16GB nearby, you might want to compare prices. It might be a better option, though I'm guessing it's likely to be more expensive.

Yeah, probably double the cost.

Just a heads up, make sure you're not spending over $200-$250 for either card. Prices can vary depending on where you are, but that's a decent range for these GPUs.

Where I live, a lot of stores carry them.

I've been using the 6700XT and it's been great! Definitely a solid card for 1080p gaming.
