Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my current PC and would love to get some suggestions before finalizing my build. I'm planning to use this new setup for gaming, multitasking for work (especially editing 4K videos, along with keeping multiple tabs open for YouTube downloads), and personal programming projects. Here's what I have in mind for the specs:
- **Motherboard**: TUF Gaming B650-Plus WiFi
- **GPU**: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D (6-Core)
- **RAM**: Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB
- **PSU**: Corsair RM750e 80+ Gold
Do you think this setup will give me the best bang for my buck?

If you're doing a lot of editing, I'd recommend considering Intel because of their Quick Sync feature on the iGPU. The new 250K Plus and 270K Plus models are pretty impressive for the price! Also, 16GB of RAM might not cut it for 4K editing; I usually face issues with anything less than 64GB. If you're just doing simple edits and using proxies, you might get by for now, but keep that in mind!
I feel you on the RAM situation; I'm aiming for 32GB too since 64GB is a bit of a stretch right now! And I've always been a Ryzen fan, but I'll check out those Intel options.
I'd say go for the Ryzen 7 7700X; it's a better all-around choice compared to the 7600X3D, which leans more towards gaming. If you can spend a little extra, the 7800X3D is also a fantastic option!
Just out of curiosity, what prices are you getting for the 7800 XT and 7600X3D?
I'm looking at about $450 for the 7800 XT and around $400 for the 7600X3D, which includes some bundles at Microcenter.
You might want to consider the 7700X with a 32GB RAM bundle at Microcenter as well; it could be a great deal!

For editing, I suggest going with 32GB (2x16GB). It's a solid sweet spot!
