My PC Keeps Shutting Down While Gaming—What Could Be Wrong?

I'm having a frustrating issue where my computer randomly shuts off during gaming sessions, predominantly while playing Minecraft, though it also happens with Risk of Rain 2 and occasionally with Microsoft applications like Teams and Word. Here's what I observe when it happens:

1. The screen abruptly goes dark.
2. The EZ Debug LED shows that the VGA light is active.
3. Interestingly, the case fans and lights remain on.
4. Then, the EZ Debug LED indicates the boot light is on.
5. Finally, the computer restarts on its own.

I'm running Windows 11 with an A520M-A PRO motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor, paired with an RTX 3060 GPU. Any thoughts on how I might be able to fix this?

When this kind of issue pops up, I usually dive into checking both hardware and software. I once faced a similar problem, and it turned out to be my PSU overheating, despite the fan working fine. A good first step is to check the Event Viewer in Windows for any errors around the times your PC shut down. This can give you clues about whether it's a software issue or something related to your power supply. If it’s a power supply problem, try unplugging and then securely reconnecting all PSU cables. If that doesn’t help, you might need to consider replacing the PSU. It’s a shot in the dark, but it’s worth exploring!
