Why is my iPhone’s battery dropping so quickly?

I need some advice about my iPhone 13 Pro's battery health. I got this used phone on March 31, and it had a battery capacity of 82%. I've been really careful with it—I don't use it while charging and I try to keep it charged between 20% and 80%. However, I noticed that on April 14, the capacity dropped to 81%, and by April 17, it was down to 80%. What does this mean for my phone? Is this normal for a used phone, and what should I do about it?

If you’re under 80%, check if you have AppleCare! They often provide free battery replacements for devices that fall below this threshold.

It looks like your battery may have been on its last legs when you got it. A used phone often means the battery is not in peak condition. Replacing the battery might be a good idea, especially since it's already at 80%.

Honestly, it could be time for a replacement once your battery hits 79%. Don’t wait too long or it could affect your phone's performance!

You should probably let your phone charge more freely instead of sticking to that 20%-80% range. Constantly charging it in that bracket can actually wear the battery out faster. Just let it charge more naturally when you can.

You might have thought that 82% would last longer, but sometimes used phones come with hidden issues. If it gets worse, definitely consider a battery replacement.

Yeah, I was hoping it would last me longer too! It’s disappointing to see such a drop so quickly.
