I'm new to PC building and looking to upgrade my GPU. I purchased a prebuilt system from CyberPowerPC, and while I don't have the complete parts list, I'm in the process of contacting them to find out what components are inside. I know I'll need to upgrade my power supply for a 5070 TI, but I'm also considering a 4070 Super. Right now, I'm struggling to find good white GPUs since the only one I found was pricier than the 5070 TI. Additionally, I'm worried about fitting a larger GPU in front of my fans since the 5070 TI is quite big compared to my current GPU. A friend mentioned that upgrading the GPU might require a new motherboard, but I've checked my motherboard compatibility and it seems to support the 5070 TI (though I'm not totally sure). I'd really appreciate any advice, as I feel a bit out of my depth here! I do know I have a 600W PSU, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.

Your motherboard should be okay as long as you don’t upgrade the CPU. However, the power output is quite low right now, which is fine for your current CPU, but it may struggle with a higher-end GPU, especially at lower resolutions like 1080p where you might experience bottlenecking. At 1440p, you’ll still see some bottlenecking, but it won't be too severe. As for fitting the GPU, you'll likely have around 100mm of space, so you should be good! Just double-check your case dimensions to be sure.

If I'm gaming at 1440p, should I consider getting a new CPU and motherboard too? My mobo supports AMD 7000/8000/9000 series, so if I swap the CPU, would that work?
