Looking for Upgrade Advice Before Next-Gen GPUs

Hey folks! I'm reaching out for some insights on how to upgrade my PC setup intelligently before September 2026. I want to keep costs low while making sure I'm ready for the next-gen GPUs, specifically the RTX 6000 series, and any new Intel CPUs that come out. Here's what I'm currently working with:

- **CPU:** i5-14600K (from July 2025)
- **GPU:** RTX 5070 Ti MSI Shadows OC X3 (from July 2025)
- **Motherboard:** PRO B760M-P DDR5 (from Nov 2024)
- **RAM:** 32GB DDR5 4800MHz (from Nov 2024)
- **PSU:** MSI MAG 850W Gold PCIe 5 (from July 2025)
- **Cooler:** Deepcool AK620 Pro Digital (from July 2025)
- **Case:** Raidmax X606
- **Airflow:** 4 fans (3 front intake, 1 rear exhaust)

I primarily game at 1440p with DLSS Quality enabled, and I usually keep my GPU under 230W, hitting higher only on heavier titles. My goal is to upgrade as wisely as possible without going overboard since I don't want to replace more than necessary. Any suggestions?

Honestly, your setup is already pretty solid. If you're aiming for the RTX 6000 series, there might not be a pressing need to upgrade unless you want to jump to 4K gaming. In that case, you could consider options like moving to an AM5 platform and getting a high-end CPU, but it might be worth waiting until the new GPUs launch to see how everything shapes up.

Totally agree! It's best to wait for the actual specs before deciding anything. Also, Intel's next CPUs should be exciting!

Your build doesn’t really need upgrades right now. Unless you want to run the latest games at max settings in 4K, you’re good to go! Maybe just enjoy what you have for a bit.

Yep, that sounds like a plan! Sometimes staying put is the better choice.

If you really want to tinker, consider upgrading your RAM to 32GB DDR5 6400 MHz. You could sell your current ones, and it won't break the bank. Just a thought!

That sounds like a good plan! Gonna look into that.
