I'm running into an issue where I can't delete a file on my Mac, even when I'm logged in as root. I have both read and write permissions for the file, but each time I attempt to delete it, I'm informed that I lack permission to access some items. Has anyone else faced this problem and found a solution? Also, I learned that 'chattr' doesn't work on Mac, so if it does somehow, please let me know! As a last resort, I'm considering using a third-party app for file deletion. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Could you let us know what type of file it is? Sometimes system files are protected by the OS and can't be deleted even with root permissions. If it's a regular file, that should help narrow it down.
It's just a pdf!
