I'm trying to clone my Crucial P3 Plus SSD to a Samsung 990 Plus Evo SSD for my new PC setup, aiming to make the Samsung the primary drive. I'm using Macrium Reflect for the cloning process, but I'm encountering error 9 23. I've already tried using the command prompt with chkdsk, clearing the Samsung drive, scanning for errors, and running system fixes, but nothing has worked. Are there any other steps I might be missing, or suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Both SSDs are recognized as functional by the utilities I'm using.

Could you share the models and capacities of both drives? Also, checking the health status with Crystal Disk Info could give us more insight on their condition.
One option is to use Atola MultiDrive, which can skip over any damaged areas. However, if there's actual damage, you might need a strategy for repairing the source drive itself. Any chance that could be a route for you?
Have you considered using a different cloning tool? Sometimes software compatibility can lead to those kinds of errors, so it might be worth trying another program to see if it resolves the issue.
