Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a new PC since my old one is going to my brother, so he can game with me. I've made a rough list of components, and I'd love some feedback on whether there are better options out there. You can check out my list here: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qNTV7w). I'm particularly interested in advice about choosing the best motherboard, the MAG b850 versus others, and whether I should go for the 5070ti or the 5080. Price isn't a major issue—I'm just looking for the best performance without going over $3500 for the 5090. I also want to ensure I won't need to upgrade for a long time. Additionally, do I need to buy a heat sink for the SN8100, or does the motherboard come with a suitable one? Any recommendations for the case would also be super helpful. Thanks a ton!

I'd recommend going for 2x32GB RAM instead of 4x16GB; it's generally better for performance. A 750W or 850W power supply will be sufficient for the 70ti. As for the motherboard's M.2 cover, I’m not sure how effective they'll be at keeping temps down. Any thoughts?
You really don't need anything beyond what you have. Even for video editing or 3D modeling, your current specs are solid. The 5080 only offers about 15-20% more performance at a cost that's about 30-50% higher with similar VRAM. I'd stick with what you've got!
Just a heads up, your current SFX power supply is designed for small cases. If you're not going that route, it’s better to get an ATX PSU.
Definitely go for the 5080 and stick to 2 sticks of RAM for the best results. Just to give you an example of what you could get, I've created a part list that’s pretty good for gaming. Here's the [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7h8ykD) with some high-quality components. It does come with a higher price tag, though!
What makes the X870 better than the B850? I really appreciate the guidance!
You probably don’t need 64GB for just gaming. If you're into video editing as a profession, then go for it. By the way, if you’re near a MicroCenter, you might score a deal on a 9800 X3D with a 5080 combo for under $2500!

Haha, I’m just listing the Win to keep things organized in my mind! Appreciate the info! Thanks!
