Help Me Choose the Right Motherboard for My Gaming PC Build

I'm planning a new gaming PC that should be good for 1080p and 1440p gaming, but I'm feeling a bit lost when it comes to choosing parts. My budget for the whole setup is around $1200, and I'm trying to stay under $300 for the motherboard. I'm going with an AMD 9600X processor, as I mainly use my PC for gaming, browsing, and word processing; I'm not into video or 3D editing. I want a reliable build that will last me a few years, but I don't want to spend more than $300 on any single part other than the GPU, which I plan to use my existing RTX 3060 for a while. Any recommendations for a good motherboard and RAM?

You might want to check out 'PC Builder' on YouTube. They have some awesome walkthroughs each week on builds and tips on where to score the best prices. It really helped me out when I was building mine!

To get started, any B650 or B850 motherboard should fit your budget nicely. Pair that with 32GB of 6000MT CL30 RAM, and you'll be set for a solid gaming experience.

If there's a Micro Center nearby, they often have great bundles for CPU + motherboard + RAM. You'll get good CL36 RAM at a discount, which can help you save up for a better GPU down the road. This is really important if you're gaming at 1440p and want good performance!
