Why is my PC CPU overheating?

I've been experiencing overheating issues with my PC's CPU, and I can't seem to pinpoint the cause. I've already updated the BIOS, installed the latest AMD drivers, and updated Windows, but none of those steps have solved the problem. I also ran Malwarebytes, and it didn't find any issues. I included a screenshot in the comments to show the readings I'm getting.

Have you checked if the thermal paste needs to be replaced? Also, make sure you've removed any plastic film from the cooler if you recently installed it.

It’s weird that it hasn’t shut down yet, considering it’s hitting 91°C. It could be a short somewhere, but there might be other factors at play here. How much hotter does it get?

Don't forget to check that your fans are actually spinning and that the heatsink is free of dust. Sometimes simple clean-ups can solve these overheating issues.

If you're using an AIO cooler, check if the pump is still working correctly. Sometimes they fail without any warnings. Have you checked the software to see if there are any alerts?
